"Drive" Featured in National Commercial!

We are so excited to announce that our debut single has been chosen for the Discount Tire national television campaign!  It came as an exciting surprise when Discount Tire's corporate office reached out to our team after finding our music video on Vimeo and Youtube.  It is like a match made in Heaven: a song pre-ordained for a tire company and a tire company that was in need of a great song.  We have been busy this past year writing and recording new material.  So this new milestone is just the catalyst we needed to move on to that next level as a group and we are thrilled.  Look for new blogs in the near future with possible new show dates and songs!

And here it is!

"Drive" Music Video Debut...and more!

We have officially released our debut music video for our new single, "Drive".  We had a great time at the release party.  A special thanks goes out to Big City Subs for hosting the event.  We started out the evening with an acoustic set: collaborating with Miss Brynn Marie and our awesome guitar player, Derek Williams.

After unveiling the video and honoring the director/producer/videographer, Zak Kingrea, we all had a great time mixing and mingling while we enjoyed wine and subs.  Everyone that attended the party was entered into a raffle drawing and went home with fun prizes: like Danger Love Saint CDs, Brynn Marie CDs, Tennessee Titans Cheerleader calendars, posters, and merchandise.

Danger Love Saint has been so excited to collaborate with Brynn Marie for their past two concerts.  In March, DLS and Brynn came together for the Billy Block Show.  Along with their rockin' band, Danger Love Saint, Featuring Brynn Marie show cased an exciting set full of their original songs.

Billy was so happy with the show that he asked us to come back for his April line up.  Look for Danger Love Saint, Featuring Brynn Marie at the Rutledge on April 24th at 7pm, to kick off the Billy Block Show once again.

Don't forget to check out the "Drive" music video and stay tuned for more exciting concert announcements: like opening for Billy Currington.....

"Drive" Music Video Shoot: a Success!

Danger Love Saint could not have asked for a more beautiful day in December to shoot our music video for our debut single, "Drive". We arrived in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee early morning, to a smiling director: Zak Kingrea from School of the Legends.  School of the Legends is a  company based out of Brentwood, Tn, that hosts a network for NFL legends that share their expert training tips with amateur players and coaches all over the world.

Our first shoot location was in front of Serenite Maison (many thanks to owner, Alex Rose). The front porch offered a quaint, southern vibe, bringing our fans a real taste of of Tennesse. As we were into our 3rd or 4th take, Miss Naomi Judd herself passed on by, giving us a wink and a smile.

We moved on to the Leiper's Fork Lawn Chair Theatre (thanks to Lisa at the Leiper's Creek Gallery) for our second shoot location.  This out door theatre hosts outdoor movies, world famous song writers, and artists throughout the year. Just last summer I watched Leslie Satcher play here (George Straight's "Troubadour") with Allen Shamblin (Miranda Lambert's "House That Built Me").  As we were shooting Miss Lani Netter passed through to say hello and admired our song (Husband, Gil Netter produced "The Blind Side", "Marley and Me", "Water for Elephants", "My Best Friend's Wedding", and more).

We took a short lunch break at Tennessee's famous restaurant/grocery store, Puckett's in Leiper's Fork.  On a typical weekend you might see a Grammy award winning singer or songwriter drop in for some BBQ and to sing a song or two.  Recently Miss Carrie Underwood made a cameo and shared some of her favorite songs with an intimate crowd of diners.

After lunch, we stopped by Miss Martie's house to get our intro. shot for the video.  She let us know that Lionel Richie was just there a couple of weeks earlier to shoot the cover for his upcoming album.  The white wrap around porch and picturesque driveway will be a spectacular addition to our video.

We finished out the day driving around in a vintage, candy apple red, Ford convertible.  Some of the winding roads around the Leiper's Fork area offer the most breathtaking views in Middle Tennessee.

We can't wait for all of you to see the final product.  This Danger Love Saint music video is going to show you our personalities, our sound, and our state, like many of you have never seen before.  Be sure to stay connected with us on Facebook and Twitter so you know exactly when the "Drive" music video is released.  You can download "Drive" right now on iTunes.

Many thanks to Roy Snow and Aubrey Preston for being especially helpful in suggestions for our video shoot, my brother Aaron (set assistant), Zak and Gary from School of the Legends, and all of my friends in Leiper's Fork. The Leiper's Fork community was the first to embrace me when I was new to Tennessee.  After moving to Nashville, I was first employed in Leiper's Fork at the Twisted Fork Cafe, which is now Joe Naturals.  I never knew that the "seeds" I was sowing back then would lead me full circle, back to Leiper's Fork for my band, Danger Love Saint's first music video shoot; almost 3 years later.
